Let’s just say that in this day and age, the off-road capability is a lot more advanced than it used to be. Back then, things were simple and while simple can be nice in some ways, simplicity can come a lack of features. While simplicity does have its upside, I don’t think that there are many folks who are arguing against the capability of modern tech.
With this new technology, vehicles become a lot easier to drive and much safer as well. While we’re sure that a good 4×4 did its job back in the day of delivering a driver through questionable conditions, today’s 4x4s certainly offer a lot in terms of driver assistance as well.
This time, we get to see which one of these vehicles does its job the best. Up for debate, we find the likes of a Land Rover Defender, Mercedes-Benz G350, and a Jeep Wrangler. In order to test them out, this time, the crew at carwow does something a little bit different. In this off-road battle, things seem to revolve more around an uphill drag race than anything else.
For a long time, the off-road community has seen the Jeep Wrangler as one of the most capable vehicles that one can buy. Jeep has really done a great job of packing this thing full of all of the right features to have it be able to tackle any terrain at hand. One of those features that seems to really sum up the nature of the Jeep is the fact that it’s lightweight which can’t really be said about the competitors here. However, these competitors still seem to be up to the task of taking on the Jeep. Who will come out successfully? There’s only one way to find out and that’s by checking out the comparison video below that puts these SUVs head to head.
